About

Her practice transforms fragmented life stories into a sense of clarity.

She moves between personal art-making and collaborative works created with others.

She listens before she makes.

Beginning with conversations, memories, photographs and objects gathered over time, her work explores the emotional life held within everyday materials. Whether creating her own artworks or developing books and personal archives with individuals and groups, she is interested in how stories can be translated into tactile forms that preserve feeling, connection and memory.

Working across embroidery, sculpture, painting, book-making, and film, she creates works that hold the quiet weight of lived experience. The way ordinary things can hold entire histories inside them will guide the form each artwork eventually takes.

Guided by slow handwork and attentive observation, she creates intimate works that honour the human desire to be remembered, understood, and being seen.
