Homes in the World
There are boxes everywhere. They become both vessels and archives, carrying fragments of lives, old photographs, objects misplaced, or left behind.
The works explore the upheaval of transition - the mess of dismantling one life while attempting to organise another. Furniture is shifted and the distance between “old home” and “new home” stretches across the sea. Within piles of boxes, scattered belongings, and temporary arrangements lies a deeper question of belonging, what do we carry with us and what we loose on the way.
This exhibition is not only about relocation, but about the emotional labour of rebuilding a life. Amid the clutter and confusion, there are gestures of care, resilience, and quiet hope — the slow act of making oneself at home again.
