House in the World, World in the House

These sculptures and installation explores issues of place and its relationship to the sense of self and its opposite, displacement.

A "house in the world" means understanding that our personal choices, the things we bring into our spaces, and the ways we use them are part of a larger impact on the environment.

Our homes are not isolated from the ecosystems they draw from, they exist within, and contribute to, a vast network of resources and influences.

Through this lens, we can see our homes as reflections of the broader environment, and every decision made within them as a small but significant part of our relationship with the planet.
