Some Day I Will Tell You
The painting considers how human connection forms a kind of living archive with multiple layers of collaged figures. Every encounter leaves a trace. A conversation, an act of kindness, shared laughter, or even loss can continue to echo through our lives long after someone has gone.
While the work is personal, it speaks to something many people understand. Most of us can think of someone who appeared at exactly the right moment and changed the direction of our lives in ways we never expected. Some people leave us with memories, while others leave us with values, habits, stories, or ways of seeing the world, a legacy carried forward through everyday life.
The painting becomes a reflection on connection, timing, and the unseen ways we continue to carry one another through life.
